I usually try to entertain myself a bit by wasting time with
telemarketers.  Simply amazing!  They want my cc for a $1 fee to mail
me some gifts, so I give them fake name, cc, address.  I am amazed
that they stay in business with offshore openers then local closers
for idiot freebies.  Who in their right mind gives cc info to
telemarketer from mumbai or manila?
Rational is not a word about Amerikans today.  The news is evidence
#1.  One side sez bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iraq, the other side sez
stay home.  Yeah, that is functional and rational - N O T ! !
Then we complain about education.  Waaay too much coming out this past
few weeks about education cheats and stealing and non-rational
processes in education.  Amerika the great is burning for sure.  If
you want education as always, tutoring is best, i.e. home school as it
is known these days.

I also watch a lot of Velocity (because there's so little on elsewhere) 
and I noticed they recycle those shows big time.   That may have 
something to do with the so-called experts being way off when predicting 
car prices.   Unless you're talking about the one where they put a value 
on a car then run it through the auction to see what it'll get.  Then 
they are often way off on the valuation as you suggested.   I saw one 
(again) which had a rare 63 StingRay convertible that included a 
hardtop  - the experts said around $90K, the auction co said from 
$80k-$120 and it sold for $53!   The owner used the 'no-reserve option 
and lost ~$40k on one sale!   Yikes!

believe the economic gurus have the power to predict the stock market.

However the current administrations economic plan for Trickle up Poverty
does seem to be gaining great success.. at current rate of change we will
soon all be equally poor... it seems.

Just heard the computer people who did the email system repairs for IRS are
doing the re-programming for Obamacare...  At last, cross utilization of
government talent.. should save money on that one.  ;

Apple is in trouble. They've basically given the professional world the finger 
with the new MacPro, their phones are twice the money for no added features and 
their last tablet release sucked, it had less resolution than a Kindle for 50% 
more money. The world is starting to wake up. They've got to actually do 
something if they want to stay on top, image only lasts for awhile, look at 
Blackberry.
