Inexplicable. http://www.es-refrigerants.com/ Should I vacuum the system and then let air back in? Air is not allowed. That goes double for systems with highly flammable propane in them. Rick Knoble wrote: for best results, do NOT pull a vacuum on A/C system. That's probably because they want you to charge liquid with the dye. If you boil the propane out of the can, it likely won't carry all the dye into the system. If you have a can with dye in it, charge with the undyed stuff first and let the dye be the last can you put in. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
[MBZ] ES-12a Was RE: 1985 300CD Klima relay - where is it?
Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2012 21:43:43 -0400 From: trainpain2...@yahoo.com If you need any more freon later you might want to try that Enviro Safe ES-12a. It is working really good in our cars, much better than the R134 that I was using before. I was looking at the Envirosafe website and it says not to charge the ES-12a into a vacuum. http://www.es-refrigerants.com/ Should I vacuum the system and then let air back in? Also, where is the high side fitting? I bought the 134a adapters, but I can't seem to find the high side... Where does it say that? Should I vacuum the system and then let air back in? The whole point of vacuuming a system is to remove moisture and air (since air does not function as a refrigerant). Letting air back in would ruin that effort. Also, where is the high side fitting? I bought the 134a adapters, but I can't seem to find the high side... Sorry, I can't help you with that.
