I like these:

Got a set for all the shooters in the family. Work great, last a long time
with batteries, automagically turn themselves off after 3-4 hours, I believe.

You can consistently find them for around $35 from a number of online retailers.

I’m thinking about going out and busting some clays or getting some range time
in tomorrow….

[MBZ] Electronic earmuffs sound protection

2018-11-22 Thread Curley McLain via Mercedes

Sorta, OT, but everyone needs some ear protection.

These are what I got last year. $10/pair

https://www.cdnnsports.com/electronic-earmuffs-25db-bk.html#.W_dCOGbMzVo

They work well. (until you forget to turn them off and run the
batteries down. Then they are just plain ear/sound protection.)

Good for lawnmowing, woodworking, working around noisy aircraft,
industrial use, and other noisy activities. I really like mine, and
the folks I gave them to really liked them too. They are much easier to
wear than HF plain earmuffs.
