My uncle Luther, who grew up in the backwoods and didn't have much schooling, 
said every time you add another number to pi you change its value. For that 
reason he preferred the legally established Indiana value of pi which is 3.2.
If he were alive today he might even endorse the Alabama value of pi which is

good enough for anything I did.  If you are doing telemetry for spacex, 
you may bee a few more places.
