[MBZ] Hatch latch.
Hi, all. My '87 300TD used to have a whirr after closing the rear hatch but no longer does that. It still opens and closes without the whirring noise. Is this a problem or should I just RTFM. That noise was a motor pulling the hatch shut. My first guess is the wiring at the hinge has flexed too many times and your may have a broken wire or two.
