Never done any work on a washer, beyond reconnecting the anti-wobble spring on the drum when it kept doing 'out of balance' shutdowns for no reason. The pump kit lists for $100, you might check with your local dealer. A few years ago my local dealer was about 20% lower than the internet sources on the dryer drum bearing kit. https://www.fisherpaykel.com/us/laundry/washing-machines/accessories/drain-pump-earlier-version.479595.htmlI have two washers right now, one of them has a broken fin on the agitator, but I wouldn't want to start parting it out for less than $50, and the pump seems to be the most common failure point on the washer so it would pay to have a new one. (top loading dryers usually wear out the right side drum bearing or kill the heater pack, I think the heater pack is often from restricted airflow problems)Mitch.

That seems like a pretty good deal, $150 even just to have a spare around

Oops, might have to eat those words, if the original Bendix product
will interchange. Interesting how buying the rights to a Bendix
product is scoring another innovative breakthrough.

1951 Teves acquired the rights to the Hydrovac vacuum booster from
the U.S. Bendix company and marketed it in Germany as the ATE T50.
The vacuum booster came in response to the fact that cars were
getting heavier and heavier, and more and more physical effort was
needed to apply the brakes. It uses the vacuum generated on the
intake side of the engine to boost the brake force, making for a
vast improvement in driver comfort. This technology rapidly
displaced the principle of self-energizing foundation brakes which
was being pursued by the automobile industry. scoring another
innovative breakthrough for Teves.

Let's see. That would be 8 hours. That's - Germany!!! His
