Re: [MBZ] Hey, Mitch! FP Question
Never done any work on a washer, beyond reconnecting the anti-wobble spring on the drum when it kept doing 'out of balance' shutdowns for no reason. The pump kit lists for $100, you might check with your local dealer. A few years ago my local dealer was about 20% lower than the internet sources on the dryer drum bearing kit. https://www.fisherpaykel.com/us/laundry/washing-machines/accessories/drain-pump-earlier-version.479595.htmlI have two washers right now, one of them has a broken fin on the agitator, but I wouldn't want to start parting it out for less than $50, and the pump seems to be the most common failure point on the washer so it would pay to have a new one. (top loading dryers usually wear out the right side drum bearing or kill the heater pack, I think the heater pack is often from restricted airflow problems)Mitch. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
