If you want to sell something you can post it. If you need used parts,
see the link at the bottom of each message. I have plenty of those
available.

the clamp severly overtorques prior to my ownership, as the air cleaner
end has its size slightly reduced; it does not go on very well at all, and
when it does, the donut (even a brand new one!) is pushed down inside the
tube.

How much would one of these things be worth?

[MBZ] Heya new baum tools goodie:

2007-01-04 Thread John W. Reames III
I was digging through their catalog for grins this morning and saw
something called a QP1000 Torsion Bar saver for W123 and W126.. We all
know how the torsion (sway) bar will break at the thin part (from rust)...

This is a replacement end that you weld onto the bar (after cutting it
back 1/2 from the thin section)

Sounds slick if anyone needs it (beats the heck out of removing the bar,
that looks like MAJOR pain--aren't we talking about vacuum booster, fuse
box, heater hoses and pump/monovalve (126), fenders, other electronic
goodness (abs stuff in a sdl?)

Anyhow, if anyone needs it. Looked kinda cute.
