Jim, I had a similar problem in my 111 coupe that was caused by the plug connection to the combination switch. It would be simplest to swap out the combination switch with a cheap used one. There is no left/right headlight business on the combination switch. The fork happens at the fuse box. No relays. Check that fuse box connection again. -- Jiom
