I took it out to drive it last evening to a meeting, was showing it to a guy and realized I had not put the temp tag on, so was driving around with no tag at all. I meant to do that and got busy and just took off. Later I stopped to get some gas (PREMIUM!!! ugh) and it squatted right down like some mex lowrider. Guy at the next pump asked me if I had lowered it, so I explained the hydraulic suspension and I had the parts to fix it but just wanted to take it out for a spin. Started it up and it raised back up, the guy looked kinda disappointed it wasn't slammed. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
Re: [MBZ] I'm lazy
Looks like the E300 has the same size but it needs 2 more as well. I can use that one to find some more at the hardware store. Looks like maybe M5 fine thread. --FT On 12/6/18 1:15 PM, Meade Dillon via Mercedes wrote: I'll bet you can rob some from another cruiser in your fleet? - Max Charleston SC On Thu, Dec 6, 2018 at 1:03 PM Floyd Thursby via Mercedes < mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: Anyone know what size the little machine screws are to hold the license plate on the SL600? [MBZ] I'm lazy
Anyone know what size the little machine screws are to hold the license plate on the SL600? Like M5 or M6 I am thinking. I am too lazy to go dig around the garage and find some to try.
