Re: [MBZ] Mercedes Digest, Vol 20, Issue 110

My experience has been about the same. Also tried their dye on a worn
bolster, but it only took about 6 months to wear the dye back off.

I've always felt I must be doing something wrong, because I've heard a
lot of others give it glowing reviews.

For all the work it took, it sure did remove a lot of the leather dye from my
 seats
and left a dull finish. Still card board hard in the 87 SDL.

Then you need to contact George and let him know. He
has been known to visit customers himself to resolve
concerns or problems.

They are very customer-centric folks, so I know if you
got in touch with them and described the problem they
would work with you to fix it.

Roger Forget the Eagle One for the upholstery. Use Leatherique. The stuff
is nothing short of amazing. Not that your interior would need it, but I
have used it to recover the nastiest, hardest leather from old MBs that you
ever saw. If you follow George's instructions, you won't be disappointed.
And the owners, George and Krystal are realy great people who are car
enthusiasts like us. They are very accessible and responsive to any questions
or inquiries about their products. If you contact them, tell them I
referred you (nothing in this for me, I just like them to know that we're
getting the word out.) There are others on the list who are familiar with
their products, too. Fantastic stuff and worth every penny. Dan
