Too Poor for storage.  The bulk was stuff I was not going to use myself.  Old 
spares for the W115, some W116, w123, 124 and for the boys W140.  I kept the 
things I needed for the R107.

In the Canal Zone you had to come to town to register your fresh baby as a 
citizen.  Eight bases full of fresh citizens had to travel to the Embassy for 
paperwork to be noted as human.  The equivalent of a birth certificate for 
citizenship purposes.  Canal Company residents had their own legal rights to be 
considered Born USA that the Mil. Spec. people were not given.  They could also 
choose to be Panamanian or US citizen.

Doesn't matter anyway, if you're born to an American citizen, you're an 
American citizen. Think of the children born on US bases around the world.
Of course that brings up an interesting argument I had with my dad. He says we 
shouldn't bring prisoners her from Gitmo since we'd have to admit they're 
actual human beings if they hit US soil. I argue that all US bases are US soil 
which is also true for embassies etc. He says they aren't.
Actually my dad's not much of a lawyer on that front, he figures we can abandon 
the constitution any time we want, except for the second amendment, that one's 
gotta stay no matter what.

John McCain, who had just filed for President, prove he was a US Citizen,
because he was born in Panama. Mr. McCain immediately produced certified
written evidence of his birth to US CITIZEN PARENTS who were stationed on a
US MILITARY facility, at time of his birth.. All questions were put to rest.

B. H. Obama has failed to provide that same standard of documentation,
which he himself demanded of John McCain..

The birthers claimed, and nobody has disputed that I've noticed, that there were
limits
on who that citizen could be, and an 18 year old like Stanley Ann Dunham was
just under
that limit. I think they had to be a citizen over the age of 14 for five
continuous years
before the child's birth.

You do realize that he became State Senator Obama by registering in a crowded
field of better known candidates, and then DISPUTING EVERY OTHER DEMOCRATIC
CANDIDATE OFF THE PRIMARY BALLOT, in a district where the primary winner was
a guaranteed winner in the November election? Fairness is not something a
Muslim has to worry about when competing against infidels.

some corporate donors, but they are from some outfits that contribute larger
amounts to the dems. He does have substantial grassroots support as does
Sanders.

If corporate sponsorship is the test, HRC fails that one badly.

I think Cruz probably has the best shot. While Rubio also has the smarts and
the speaking skills, I think his participation with the Gang of 8 will
ultimately not sit well with the conservatives. HRC's record is one of
serial failure. She would be a disaster as POTUS. I loved how Sanders took a
question about ISIS and in essence said "Let's talk about income
inequality."

With more than a year to swearing in the next president [unless BHO treason
trial starts early] there are many opportunities to failure of ALL the
hopefuls.

However, the Presidential marathon has begun, there is talent in the race,
some with staying power.

Hillary doesn't have the numbers to make it.. and will likely skate on
criminal charges as long as BHO is president.. Bernie is unlikely, and who
is the other guy?

Republican field of over crowded and will be boned down soon. Jeb, I
predict, will jump to Democrat, before it's over. Trump/Cruze are now the
likely ticket. That may change, but the momentum and political traction
becomes more established each day, for now.

The tides of politics can change quickly, voters are a fickle lot. However,
the tone of politics for this election has been changed forever, mostly by
Trump setting a completely different level of focus.. He terrifies some,
energizes others.. at this point.. the energize side is gaining faster than
the terrify side.

Nothing is cast in stone well, except death and taxes.. and we all have
had to much of both.. regardless of political persuasion.

do a grand job of feathering their own nests. Seems to me, we no longer
have representatives in anything but name only.

Good cause is shown that they are all "owned" by some lobby group or

try to flush it, or call the HAZMAT people...

[MBZ] Merry Holiday, just divested myself of used MB parts

SWMBA arrived the other day from the Great White North of America.  I had taken 
over much of the abode with a myriad of MB bits and bobs.  An unhappiness 
ensued which led to the dismissal of most of my car parts.

I just got done loading a gentleman's F150 long bed with the bulk of parts for 
cars of the W110-W140 era.  I made out like a bandit!  About $4k worth of parts 
all for $500.  This should make the next ten days bearable for me.  Then SWMBA 
will depart once more to the land of midday dark for another six months.
