Re: [MBZ] OT: Flight tracks

2017-12-15 Thread OK Don via Mercedes
It was surprisingly difficult to plot a geometric design in the flight GPS
app. I'll find a better way to do it next time. Once it's in the "flight
plan" - you just follow the magenta line. I did backtrack on all the
straight lines of the star - having flight trails on in the GPS made it
easier to fly the same path.

It's also the number of a vacuum tube which was typically used in audio
amplifiers back in the day, but was also used at the final in some

I saw your flight path/map. You did a pretty good job of staying on course if
that's your actual course displayed.
After I joined, though, all I saw was your flight around the Guthrie,OK area.
Also, it says my acct is too new to access pictures.

What were you doing in Hopkinsville?  That's where my dad is, and my
family is from.

Did anyone else see my flight track pix? I thought it would get at least
one comment . . .

Remember that image of the Boeing jet's flight path that outlined a
737 (or

something) that was posted a few weeks ago?

Well, now that I have an ADS-B transponder installed, my every move is
recorded if it's on, so:

( you have to have a free account and log on to see my airplane)

No, my client (K9 mail) on my Android phone refused to show it, but did
indicate it was attached.

Often if photos are embedded in the email vice attached, I can't see them.

KY-AR from a couple of years ago was the track I remembered seeing.
Then something about logging into Don's account to see all the tracks.

If it was a line art drawing of a high wing Cessna it would have gotten a ton
of comments.

I thought it would only show up during your flight and that we needed
specific timing information to look at it.
