This is stupid. I just saw a sign for $3.05 on I-95 heading north in
Maryland. Why is there such a discrepancy in diesel prices?

I didn't fill tonight because most stations were 1.91 today, but my 
favorite is at 1.94.  I hope they lower the price overnight.  I want 
1.869 tomorrow.  (Benzin 87)   Dissel is still around 2.75


Funny how fuel costs 50¢ to $1 more in place where a certain flavor of 
pol flourishes.

For some unknown reason, our gas just went up. It was dropping for a 
while, down to about .92 per litre but all of a sudden, it went back to 
$1.03. Just taking some profit I suppose but hope it goes back down as 
that seems unreasonable at the moment with oil prices down.

I got no idea why, but fuel prices are going up out PNW way.  I thought our 
fearless Cheeto had the house of Saud and opec on the run.   Might be heating 
oil season has caused #2 to climb closer to premium.

maybe even a little cheaper if I drove the e320 filling up with premium over 
the e300 diesel.

Most places around here seem to be 2.89-2.96 for diesel. I have a honey hole 
spot that is part of a major chain of stores but for some reason this location 
often has diesel much cheaper. I filled up there Tuesday for 2.72.

gasoline, which is trading in the low $2.00 range, with premium around 
$2.30-$2.40/gallon.

White Whale fuel light came on at 400 miles today, so this tank returned
24.2 mpg.  Earlier this summer I was getting about 21 - 22 mpg, so about a
10% improvement.  I'm not sure if this is due to change in my driving (not
using AC with the cooler weather) or better quality fuel, or swapping out
bad differential and bad axles, or correcting the tire pressure back from
30 psi up to 45 psi, or a combination of all those factors.  I've got the
cross bars mounted on the roof for most of this tank, need to get those off
which will cut down on the air resistance of the car.

Last fill ended up about $2.80 / gallon due to grocery store discounts.
