Its just a flat plastic duct that runs inside the center console. If you remove the wood trim, ash tray, and even acc panel you will see it. No, but I've taken one apart before. It's a hard-shell molded duct that runs through the console to the HVAC plenum under the dash. The flap valve is in the plenum and driven by a cable. The duct has a bunch of snap fingers that hold it in place.
