You should have the wrench for installing/removing the top manually. If you don’t you need to get one. When I bought one (107) I drove to get it in the SL with the soft top up. Thus transport was a cinch. That top is still hanging in the garage. The car has it's own on it now, I have not pulled it off yet. The pistons probably don't work so I don't want to fool with it really, but I suppose I should pop it off at some point. Scored what looks like a brand new never been used SL hardtop. White with blue interior, white headliner. The guy whose it was had his car rear ended and the insco totaled it. Top sat in his garage until he moved and he gave it to his neighbor to unload. Guy has been trying to sell it on CL for awhile, lis ted it on Saturday again for $300. Offered him $250 and he jumped on it. Probably should have started at 200 but since it was basically brand new...
