I think the one my friend had was a 305 now that folks bring up the 
differences.
He had no issues with the engine that I recall but he had to do some 
work on the transmission.

Never saw one of those in person.
I don't think they were as common as the 160 and 305 were.
My dad bought a used 160 Dream in 1971, then the next winter he 
traded it in on a new/leftover 1971 Suzuki T500.

My first bike was a CB200T, a direct descendant of the CB160.

I saw a comment from someone that said if the blue areas prevailed it
would be sorta like a "Hunger Games" kind of situation where the elite
metro areas basically controlled the rest of the country, the residents of
whom would basically have no say in the matter if not for the electoral
college arrangement.

If I had to guess, There were probably 2 million votes in LA county that 
were not legal votes (illegal alien, double votes, etc)   Take those

I saw a comment from someone that said if the blue areas prevailed it 
would be sorta like a "Hunger Games" kind of situation where the elite 
metro areas basically controlled the rest of the country, the 
residents of whom would basically have no say in the matter if not for 
the electoral college arrangement.


The article says:

election maps are great for communicating categorical data (in this 
case, /which candidate won county X?/). But they don’t do a very good 
job conveying magnitude

For example, *L.A. County

Which says that LA County could basically be the key to a Clinton 
"win" since the margin is like 1.5M votes at this point, and I think

geographic area though low-density.

Trump won if you only take out the illegal aliens who are ineligible to

know there is no punishment for illegal activities by illegal aliens in 
this country.


Then you need to take out the dead people voting

Then you need to take out the people voting multiple times

Then you need to take out the people bussed to another state to vote 
illegally


But NONE of that matters, because the states choose electors, and the 
electors vote for prez.  Trump won.  The WB itch conceded.   Jill the 
felon stein is irrelevant as is the johnson welder.

Well, first off the ad is for a Smart! Is it legal for a Canadian Smart to
live in the US? Don't we need a wall for that?

The real wrongness though is the in all caps shout out to the non-existent
automatic transmission. Smarts use an automated / clutchless manual
transmission. I think Smart actually calls the thing a semi-automatic.
While it *will* eventually shift itself, it expects you to treat it like a
manual. IE let up off the gas slightly and hit the paddle shifter to move
up or down the range. Trying to drive it like an automatic causes hard
shifts and jerky driving that even reviewers initially complained about.

Really, I just complain anytime someone talks about the automatic
transmission in their Smart ForTwo. Even today they aren't an "automatic"
transmissions. The third-gen smart has a dual clutch semi-auto manual
transmission. Which is absurdly weird because you can also get a full on
with clutch 5 spd manual.

There is no torque converter, thus not an automatic. It has an
electronically controlled clutch and I believe pneumatic gear selectors.
Could be worse I guess, could be the old vacuum controlled autostick out of
a Beetle. A vacuum controlled clutch ... I sometimes wonder what is wrong
with Germans?

Sure the MTD is cheaper.  However, that 332 is a _good_
machine and will probably outlast 4-6 of those plastic MTDs
and work better along the way.  It's one of the older style
hydrostatic drive.  Good machines.  I sure wish I had one.

Its cool but its a lot of money for a lawn mower.
For that price you could have 2 plastic MTDs, unless you're mowing a lot of 
grass its not worth it. If you're mowing that much grass you should plant some 
trees. :)

This whole ad is kind of odd to me.  I remember contemporary reviews that
bemoaned the fact that the XJ, despite having solid axles front and rear,
was a unit-body design and therefore not a real Jeep.  I've always
thought it paved the way for the Explorer and the whole soccer-mom SUV
culture of the '90s.

Of course there are also those who say that there haven't been any real
Jeeps since the CJ-5, and the big, plush Grand Wagoneer was the beginning
of the end.

i do notice that he has an automatic with floor shifter.  I wonder how easy it
