Re: [MBZ] Sorta OT but interesting, FixaFlat
I have an 18 year old son who has worked part time in a tire shop. I don't like to think that he needs to worry about car tires being a bomb. If that stuff is that explosive, then I don't think I want to be driving around with my tires full of it either. Surely there must be a means of inflating a tire in an emergancy situation without it being potentially deadly. I don't think I care what sort of printing is on the can of stuff as the poor kid in the tire shop likely did not have the opportunity to read it when the tire came in. If I were the Judge, I would hold the manufacturor of the tire inflating stuff liable for the damages to one and all. I used to work in a tire shopPeople ALMOST NEVER tell you there is Fix a Flat in the tire as they know most shops will turn away the job. If they don't tell you there is Fix a Flat in the tire there is no way to know until you break the bead and see for yourself. A spark from anything can cause that stuff to catch fire.
