The guy sent me some pics which for some reason he can't post on CL or email. One car, I think the 350SD(L?) with a blown engine looks half decent, the 300SEL is pretty much a turd. I could put it in the $300.560SEC if I wanted to do a 126, or in the 420SEL with the bad engine as that needs to swapped anyway. Plenty of room I guess, the 300 in-line fits in the 300SEL, the main issue would be adjusting the engine and tranny mounts to get it in place, adjusting the drive shaft.
