Got a good set of used mirror boots. Took the mirrors off, cleaned everything up, soaked the new (used) boots in a bucket of hot water to soften them up and got them installed. Slathered both with lots and lots of 303 to protect them. The old ones were so bad I had to literally chip them off the mirrors in pieces.
Pics to follow on the blog tonight. I may hold off until tomorrow, as I’m seriously considering regluing the headliner tomorrow.
