Tank is installed back in the car. I probably should have ordered new hoses for
the line out of the tank and from the pump to the supply line they do not
appear to have been leaking, but they are also stiff as a board. I will see
what they cost and how soon I can get them. The return lines and vent lines are
dry rotted and need to be replaced but it’s just regular hose by the foot.

After a couple of days alternating using a speedo cable, stiff roll of copper
wire. And 130lbs of air pressure I finally cleared the return line. I was about
to throw in the towel and order a new line (which appears to still be
available), I applied the speedo cable on the drill and bit more, then decided
to try air one more time. It seems like it was still plugged solid when
suddenly whatever was in there shot out the other end hitting shop wall like
bullets. Line is clear! I can now blow air or carb cleaner thru it. I filled
the line up with carb cleaner again and I think I will just let it sit
overnight to help further clean the line out. I think I might go ahead and
lower the car back down and install the tank, then finish hooking it up later
while the lines sit and soak. I hope to have the thing starting and running on
its own so I can pull it out and get the GL in for a starter replacement.
