Re: [MBZ] W463 door pocket

Thanks for those replies. Interior is pretty much perfect leather. I bought
a new door pocket from the MB dealer in Monterey. I will have to rejoin
MBCA, but it seems like these online dealers are already at wholesale on a
lot of items? Will keep the junkyards in mind for future replacements.

Speaking of which, the seats are wonky. I know there was a TSB on a lot of
the seat controllers in the 2005 range cars requiring some gold plated
wiring or something, so maybe that will work. Behavior is idiosyncratic;
sometimes passenger seat will not move backward until I move it all the way
forward to reset the hall sensors. Right now the passenger seat back will
only recline, making it hard for my 55 pound 4 year-old to squeeze behind
it into his car seat! Something about the resistance in the circuit so
maybe some sort of electrical contact spray on the connectors will work.

On the whole it would be good to retrofit some mechanical seats from a 2000
or earlier model! The lumbar pneumatic stuff doesn't work either...but they
are nice looking and fairly comfortable, if hard.

Can you get an MBCA discount?

Need a source for a right front 2005 gwagen door pocket. Used is fine.
New ones are $280 or something equally egregious.

 Thanks

Car-part.com I found 5 listings for RF door. Call em up and ask if
they will sell the liner or door pocket.

4 are in CA, one in PA.

You might also try calling the junkyards around Phoenix and lost
wages. I'd expect some gwagens to be crunched in those areas.
