The police cannot generally come and dig up your yard for no good reason. The plants shown in the photos don't look much like cannabis do they? I have seen tomato plants that looked more like cannabis than those daisy's. Although, given the rest of the story - his involvement with drugs, maybe the policer were annoyed enough with him to harrass him some?
