Subject: [MBZ] Well the POOS 250 LWB is gone

Took a ride over to Shuler autohaus today in Fayetteville because after
seeing the LWB on ebay they were highly interested. Just stuck it on
ebay to see what it would do, was not really trying to sell it. So at
first I was looking at a 87 300SDL to take in on partial trade for it
but it reminded me too much of the famous POS SDL. Same color and
everything. Ran great and drove great though. Just the body was too
beat up and the paint was crap. He also had a 91 350SD over there. I
as scared of the engine. Really scared because it had a bad head and
they replaced it with a rebuilt #14. Seems to be a recipe for disaster.
Ended up getting all my cash back I had into the thing PLUS a 91
420SEL. Was not really in the market for a 420SEL but it seemed more
pratical of a vehicle to have around than the LWB. Its a really nice
car, interior is perfect. Just has 1 small spot of fading on the roof.
Needs shocks but other than that, runs great. Not as powerful as a
560 or course but plenty powerful enough. Im sure I will miss the LWB
but I never really drove it much, it just sat around.
