I think not

Odometer is probably spun over at least twice.  

The “carb” does not exist, as this would have been a M117 D-jet 4.5liter.  Same 
as in my SL.  You need access to a "Bosch Wizard” learned in the Dark Arts of 
early EFI to put the engine right.  I am pretty sure there are only two shops 
within 150 miles or more from me that know how to keep a D-jet properly.   I do 
not know of the Hippies in PDX or the wearers of Toques to the north in VAN.  
Maybe they have magic pixies of D-jet.

Buy it, and donate it to McPherson College for their MB restoration 
classes, then buy it at the end of restoration.


Think of the tax deductions you could take.  charitable donation, 
expense, and you could get a research tax credit that would probably 
pay for the car.

 From the pictures, it does not look that bad.  THose are wunnerful 
cars to drive.


too bas it is a 12 and not a 10.   That 12 trans could get expensive 
if it crapped out.  all classic center parts I am sure.

220b is a rare bird.  Single barrel dual carbs, in place of the 
crappy 2 x 2 barrel Zeniths.  220S in the front, 190c in the back, no 
wood trim.


All the 220Sb/230S interior parts can be swapped in, if you want the wood.

A nice simple clean car, that SHOULD have some collectible value 
because of rarity.


Actually, Kleb could buy it and resell it as in on fleaby.de for a 
tidy profit.  I think the heckflosse are still very collectible un 
yurp.
