hi Chris! i never saw you get a full answer to this; it may be that it's just too many questions in one e-mail for any one person to answer. Give me a VIN and I can tell you what was supplied From my research while getting the correct wheels for my former 250LWB (123 chassis) there were several widths of the 14 bundt, and only one width for the 15 bundt, which was the correct wheel diameter from the factory for this car. It had a set of steel wheels that were the correct size - I doubt I would have found a set of 15 bundts on this side of the pond - they don't come around too often, and when they do they command some serious coin. I recall Rusty saying that 240Ds were 6 inches and 300Ds were 6.5. my 79 300S had 5 1/2 Bundts when I bought it from the first owner back in 86. I upgraded to 6 1/2s off a 77 450SL. I recently pulled a brand new 6 1/2X14 from the trunk of a 82 126 wreck.
