That’s not an unrealistic price for an W124.034. They’re becoming more 
valuable, especially low mileage examples like mine, because people are 
realizing that a 500E is out of their price range and these are affordable 
substitutes.

I’m loving mine, it’s a blast to drive. When the suspension is tight on these 
cars they’re amazing to drive.

be new also. Worth checking anyway.

My point is only that if those things have been done, and it is otherwise
clean, the car's value in my market could approach what he is asking.

  - Flow Master Exhaust
  - New interior
  - New paint job
  - LED headlights

A lot of money spent on aftermarket cosmetic "improvements" the car has
likely not had the fundamental mechanical maintenance kept up. Just My
Opinion.

He may not get 8 for it but if the body is clean, engine wiring and
throttle body have been relpaced, rear end bushings are done and the
transmission works it is probably a 5-6k car out here.

My mechanic had one in the other day. Motor had run low on oil. Timing
chain tensioner lost pressure. Total upper end rebuild. About 300k miles.
The owner said "fix it - no intention of getting rid of the car". Probably
at least 5k build.

I just had the front bumper cover, rear impact, right front fender
scratches, hood clearcoat resprayed on our 94. Headliner is fixed. 2.82
diff. All the rear end stuff replaced. It is up to 90k now. Really a great
machine. I paid a lot for it but compared to all the options I dont see
anything matching the performance, safety and style for what we have in it.
