 I didn't find I stick out too bad in Manila, this is my second trip, I was 
there in 2015. I did happen upon a bunch of school kids that, upon finding out 
I was American wanted to hear me talk. I did my best "Chef" from South Park, 
"Hello Children!"

day.

NRT is a great airport and not a bad place for transit passengers. Good food 
and lots of choices if you have time between flights. You should open jaw in 
Tokyo for a day on one of your legs and take in part of the city, like the 
Ginza. It’s an amazing place. You could get a hotel room, but if it were me I 
would just take a bus into Tokyo (frighteningly prompt and not expensive at 
all, considering it’s a bit of a drive) and spend the day and evening there, 
then bus back to Narita and crash on a chair/bench there until my return flight 
left.
