All of the bells and whistles work on this car otherwise and it is a beauty to look at and drive (when the engine was fully functional). This car is power everything, has the expensive and awesome stock Mercedes tow hitch, has flawless leather and dash, etc. This is a project car for someone who either wants the parts, has an engine to install into it or knows how to get someone to install an engine in it. He's probably honest about the engine, but the problem with a non-running car is that it's impossible to test and evaluate a long list of things like the transmission, HVAC, suspension, electrical system, brakes, ABS, etc. That's why the car is with little more than scrap. Best option for the owner would be a turbo OM606 including the factory intercooler, but use the injection pump from this car.
