When I had dogs that needed grooming I bought an Oster clipper set. They were not show dogs so all I cared about was giving them periodic haircuts that didn't look like total hack jobs. We’ve had a couple different mobile groomers. The first one in Colorado had an older T1N Sprinter, Tail Waggin’. The other one in Oregon, Roff Roads, started out with a converted enclosed trailer in 2019. Business quickly took off, so quickly in fact that within a few months, he took the plunge and bought a converted Ford Transit 350, then a new Sprinter that he drove from NC, and then a second Sprinter. Prices started out at $125 per Doodle, and now, they’re approaching $300 apiece (and we had four)! I would always cringe as they idled in the driveway for over two hours, especially the newer Sprinters with DEF/DPF and OM642 engine. I believe that the OM642 was discontinued after the 2022 model year. I had a girl coming in her van for a long time that did an amazing job on the poodles.
