Well, all those trillions in "stimulus" $ went somewhere.  They 
certainly did NOT go to "Shovel ready" public works projects or 
anywhere else in the economy where there is visible change.


I can believe the uberwealthy laundered the $ and has it stashed 
somewhere.  Not that it does any good to anyone if it is all paper. 
If/when paper is traded for something useful, it becomes real.  If 
paper is traded for metal, for example, then it supports a productive 
industry, mining, refining and perhaps minting if the metal is in the 
shape of a coin.

But WHY?  What is the purpose of dragging cars off a dealer lot and then 
socking them away for 20 years?  The cars are not worth half what was paid even 
in Predestine condition.  Rubber bits are old and everything that needed to be 
used has just rotted or corroded in place.  Maybe they were Pablo Escobar cars 
he never got to drive before he got lead poisoning.
