No, it looks like the E will be getting the 2.1 4cyl turbo diesel instead (190 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque, badged E250), the same engine the GLK will be available with shortly (ML to follow?) rumored to be going in the new C-class as well. - Chris J. ...Speaking of the refreshed '14 E-classit looks like 4matic will finally be available on the BlueTEC (diesel) model as well, if the preliminary ordering info that was recently shown is anything to go by!.. The undisguised production model is shown in the 11/29 Auto motor und Sport. I read previously that every body panel except one has been changed. It's much more attractive with new lights front and rear. The 3.5 265hp Bluetec will be avaliable in the ML GL next year so maybe that engine will be available in the E. No spare tire, like all Bluetecs. I saw a '13 ML at my dealer this week and it's 3.5 DI 302hp engine is now E85 compatible. Heavily equipped at $61,500.
