On our Kenworth W900 with the Caterpillar 3406E, one of the things The Shop in Moriarty suggested doing, and which suggestion I approved, was putting ball valves in the hot water lines for that exact purpose. On the E300, you could get a radiator hose clamp from FLAPS and pinch off The hose, or get a 3/4 ball valve to install in line and shut off the hot water. -- Max Dillon Charleston SC On June 20, 2019 10:04:09 PM EDT, Buggered Benzmail via Mercedes wrote: >I should get you to work on my truck AC. > >Tomorrow I need to bypass the duovalve or monovalve or whatever the >$500E300 has so I can get some cold air out of the thing. Re: [MBZ] More AC fun
I should get you to work on my truck AC. Tomorrow I need to bypass the duovalve or monovalve or whatever the $500E300 has so I can get some cold air out of the thing. It will blow cold then goes hot. Seems like that thing might be broke. --FT Sent from iPhone > On Jun 20, 2019, at 9:43 PM, Meade Dillon via Mercedes > wrote: > > While waiting for parts for the evapectomy on The White Whale, I decided to > tackle the compressor re-seal on the '95 E300.
