have ALL the parts.  Worst part would be getting the factory switch wired

retrofit rear reclining seats to a LWB car it is being a nachtmare.

And no, I have no interest in converting the 350SDL to reclining seats.  I 
would never get to enjoy therm.

On the 126 there is a frame with the motor that moves it back and forth. The 
frame pretty much bolts to the car where the regular seat would bolt, and the 
seat bolts to the frame. There is not a lot to it other that running switches 
and power to it. Probably more hassle than I would want but I used to have 
several of the frames with motors laying around that could be used to retrofit 
a car.

useful, usually.  Might help at naptime, if all occupants in the back were
amenable.  The individually heated seats in back, on the other hand...

Didn’t see that as I breezed through the pictures.

Despite the front bumper cant, I’m still of the opinion that it’s a really nice 
car.  It’s optioned out to the hilt - only thing it doesn’t appear to have is 
the rear sunscreen, which was really rare in the W126 cars.  I’m wondering if 
it might be gray market since it’s got velour…

I have never sat in a long wheelbase W126 with reclining rear seats.  I would 
love to have the opportunity.
