It's the thing at the left side of the tranny.You can see it looking down
the right rear of the engine.

I replaced the engine mounts today (thanks Rusty) - it's a MUCH nicer
ride with the engine off the frame! The left side was completely
collapsed.
The tranny mount is scheduled for tomorrow since it's the same age.
While I'm there, I'd like to adjust the shifts a bit. They're soft,
almost to the point of flaring, but not quite.
I assume this is done at the vacuum modulator?

You turn something one way or the other to adjust this?

What do you turn, and which way for harder?

There is a rubber cap on the modulator (3/4 dia.). Underneath is a T-handle
resting in detents. Pull it out and turn it. Left is softer, right is harder
(unless Kaleb says otherwise).

replace the engine mounts. I'm going to have to fight off my son
though - I made the mistake of letting him drive it home from Wichita
