Re: [MBZ] OT anyone know about 911s?

Not my motivation. I don't do "perfectify" well and do not consider
myself to have the knowledge or experience needed to make flipping cars
a viable source of income. As with houses, my guess is that 90% of the
people who casually try this end up losing money.

I suspect this one is cheap because it's a 170k daily driver and not a
40k garage queen.

But I bet the garage queens are 10x prettier when viewed up close.
Then there's the (probably five digit) engine overhaul that's probably
due soon...

My very limited experience is that Porche owners are perfectionists
and so a minor paint imperfection will drastically impact a selling
price, negatively.  A cheap Porche can be a real bargain if that model
has a solid reputation.  I know of two neighbors that got some real
bargains on Boxsters that had paint finish issues.

Larry in VA has an old 911, he may know.

My very limited experience is that Porche owners are perfectionists and so a
minor paint imperfection will drastically impact a selling price, negatively.
