I checked the data card, it's very well optioned. If everything checks 
out on the PPI, I say go for it!


345 - RAIN SENSOR (For windshield wiper)
404 - MULTI-CONTOUR SEAT, FRONT LEFT
405 - MULTI-CONTOUR SEAT, FRONT RIGHT
472 - ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM (ESP)
600 - HEADLAMPS - CLEANING EQUIPMENT (Headlight Washers)
612 - HEADLAMPS XENON
873 - SEAT HEATER FOR LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT SEATS

My blue 1999 has the seat heaters, wish it had the rest...
The only problem I see is that it has Xenon and one of them is full of water.
That headlamp assembly is probably a four digit item, and I don't know how easy 
it is to down convert to regular headlamps. He could probably buy a set of 
aftermarket regular lamps new with the proceeds from selling his Xenon from the 
good side, but it would require some rewiring at the minimum.

I wouldn't be so quick to ditch the self leveling Xenon's. New OE is 
around $800-$900?, but it should be possible to pick up a used assembly 
for less then half that.


The WIS has instructions for adding some factory optional equipment to 
various models from the mid 80's on. ESP  Xenons are a no-go on the 
W210 due to the wiring  electronics involved, but heated seats, 
headlight washers  ortho muti-contour seats are possible to add to a 
car without. I thought that was pretty cool!
