Asiq, I wish I had thought of that. :-)

Set dr = createObject(Mercury.devicereplay)
dr.PressKey 63

Works very nicely. I will convert it to a sub.

Thanks for the idea.

Ok. Instead of Analog recording, why don't you press F5 key using Mercury

 Asiq:

 BHOManager Class was enabled.

I added msgbox Err.Number after refresh.

 Browser().Refresh

 -2147467259

 Browser().Object.Refresh

 -2147220983

I googled the above error numbers but nothing jumped out. There is 3 G of
RAM on the box but I will try executing the code with only UFT 11.5 and IE
9 running and see it that makes a difference.

I was able to get refresh to work by recording in analog and then
 playing that back.
Tomorrow, I will try Insight recording and see what that is like.

 Thanks for the ideas,

 Parke,

If the Browser().Object.Refresh is not working, then try after changing
 the below IE setting,

 1. Tools -Manage Add-ons
 2. Select the BHOManager class
 3. Enable it.

Could you try the below method?

 Sorry, forgot to state:

 Popup containing the following:
 Run Error
 General run error.
 line(whatever). Browser(OR_name).Refresh

 That is all it says.

 Thanks,

 People:

The line, Browser(OR_name).Refresh, is not working for OS = Vista SP2,
 UFT 11.5, IE 9

When executing the line, Browser(OR_name).Refresh using QTP 11, IE 8,
OS = Windows 7 Professional (32 bit), it works as expected.

Any suggestions why a refresh is not working would be appreciated.

 Thanks,
