Re: RawKeyDown to trap Screenshot key
Alejandro, Anyone can also send the app in the background where it wont detect such keys! Of course, you could hide the screen when there is a suspendstack... And why is the scroll-lock detected of all things!!? Maybe there is a way to make an external to detect it... -=- Xavier Bury TNS NT LAN Server ext 6465 Alejandro Tejada [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 28/11/03 05:17 Please respond to Discussions on Metacard To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc: Subject:RawKeyDown to trap Screenshot key . Hi, Does anyone knows how to stop the user of taking a screenshot of the screen while running MetaCard using the screenshot key in windows machines? Rawkeydown does not trap the number of that key in windows. I read the suggestion of one of the participants in these lists to delete temporal files to stop users of getting any file from MC/RR apps And why is the scroll-lock detected of all things!!? How is this? Do you refer to the scroll lock key that is near the screenshot key? Maybe there is a way to make an external to detect it... I hope so. And why is the scroll-lock detected of all things!!? How is this? Do you refer to the scroll lock key that is near the screenshot key? Yep, one of the most unused keys on a keyboard! Once had a call from a user because he didn't notice he had pressed it and that his arrow keys happened to scroll things around! PANIC!!! If you can get it to work in MC, all the user needs to do is bring the Finder or Windows Explorer to the front and do it from there.
