[meteorite-list] Impact Crater / size / mass

2012-04-04 Thread Paul Gessler

Hoping someone on here has Tsvetkov's mass/crater-size diagram?

Mass of impactor individual plotted to size of crater as it relates to the
Sikohte-Alin impact crater field.

Please let me know anything you might have in this regard.

Thanks: Paul Gessler

Hi all,

I do not normally sell meteorites but give it a whirl every once in a while!

[meteorite-list] Bicentenary of the meteorite of Toulouse

2012-04-04 Thread rm31

Hi List,

I'm pleased to invite you to the conference and exhibition for the bicentenary
of the fall of the meteorite of Toulouse, april 10th 1812.
This event is the materialization of 2 1/2 year of historical and scientific
researches. It benefited from the early support of the Museum of Toulouse (SW
France). Specimens from European and American collections will be shown to the
public. I believe this is the first time that the main samples of a fall will be
reunited close to their place of fall, 200 years later.

http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/2373/invitationmtoritedetoul.jpg

R. Mathieu
geologist

PS. I've tried to post this message march 24th but it looks like it didn't work,
something I could not check then since I was traveling and not connected to the
internet.

Wow!
On the same day, I get posts from both Julia Swaim and Al Mitterling!!

Too bad that the post from jj was because her email address was hijacked by
some virus (probably due to some unsafe Internet practices;-).

And almitt2? I knew him back when he was almitt0.5!

That's why I love this List.
The more time goes by, the more things remain the same.
