Re: [meteorite-list] Texas Fireball on CNN
Check that -- more data is coming in and the later Texas event may have managed to stay on this side of the border. I've given up trying to find it in radar, but will check seismographs to see if any picked up a sonic boom to help narrow down the location. The earlier Texas event does appear to be firmly within Texas. I don't think I'll have time to look at that one tonight... --Rob From: Meteorite-list [meteorite-list-boun...@meteoritecentral.com] on behalf of Matson, Rob D. via Meteorite-list [meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com] Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2014 4:15 PM To: Graham Ensor Cc: Meteorite List; Michael Farmer Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] Texas Fireball on CNN Hi Graham -- no, no chance it's in Texas. Hi List, I wouldn't hunt a meteorite in Mexico if you offered a million dollars to do it. It's not worth being kidnapped or decapitated or both. Too bad if it fell there.
