Re: [meteorite-list] Rock-napping case involving $425, 000 purchase of Fukang meteorite lands Massachusetts couple in court
That is why there are federal perjury laws with a minimum one year sentence ranging up to five years or more for those who choose to lie under oath. http://www.criminaldefenselawyer.com/crime-penalties/federal/perjury.htm Now, if people would simply tell the truth and not be blinded by greed, things would go a lot easier for them. Making undocumented claims under oath can be very dangerous and cost one his/her freedom. It is obvious that one of the parties is being deceptive in this case since the their statements don't match. It will be interesting to hear the outcome. Hi Folks, I wish I could speak about this now. What I can say is that I am confident this will land in the right place and will share in due time. Please also consider that when there is a detail mentioned in any report that seems tortured or too strange to believe—trust your instincts!;-) All best / me On Apr 11, 2016, at 3:20 PM, Tommy via Meteorite-listwrote: > http://www.masslive.com/news/index.ssf/2016/04/rock-napping_case_involving_42.html > > Regards! > > Tom > > __ > > Visit our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/meteoritecentral and the > Archives at http://www.meteorite-list-archives.com > Meteorite-list mailing list > Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com > https://pairlist3.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list > __ Visit our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/meteoritecentral and the Archives at http://www.meteorite-list-archives.com Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com https://pairlist3.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list

We have something very much like this in Arkansas, and similar giant spherical concretions are know from a number of other places around the globe as well.
