Name: Calama 022
Classification: L6 Ordinary Chondrite meteorite (Shock = 1 and Weathering =
1)
Weight: 11.1 kg (+/- 10g)
Dimensions: 280 x 165 x 170 mm (approximate)

Pictures may be seen on eBay
(https://www.ebay.com/itm/Meteorite-L6-chondrite-S1-W1-Calama-022-from-Chile
-11-1kg/254115040361) and deals may be made outside of eBay!
The direct price (off eBay price) is $4350 (just under $0.40/g).

I am happy to announce the availability of the 11.1kg main mass of Calama
022 (and many smaller fragments). Calama 022 was found October 15, 2017
during an expedition to the desert in Antofagasta, Chile. This meteorite is
classified as an L6, S1 and weathering in listed as W1 (quite fresh!).

The main mass weighs 11.1kg (not 12kg as originally reported) and displays
subtle yet beautiful fluted regmaglypts on one side that is covered in a
very dark brown crust. The crust covers about 25% of the specimen.

The meteorite was discovered by Timur Kryachko during a foot search of a
small plateau that is difficult to access by car. The remaining fragments
were found within 7 meters of the main mass. Timur can be seen in the
attached picture holding the main mass after he was later joined by the rest
of the expedition team comprised of Mikhail Nepomiluev and Timur's brother,
Ilya Kryachko.

All the material is in my possession (USA) at this time and I am the sole
agent for this material. The specimen will come with a SkyFall Meteorites
specimen card and list Timur Kryachko as the finder.
