I just checked AOLs site for rooms in Tucson. They gave me many hotels to choose from but the prices were in the $150 to $200 a night range. I have been finding that AOL is a good sitepricewise to buy plane tickets and to book rental cars but have never booked a room through them.
For those of you who dont mind driving 60 miles or so you should be able to get a hotel in Nogales starting at about $25 or $30.
Me and Roman went last year and had a rough time getting a hotel but did manage to find one after we arrived. I wouldent advise you doing that though unless you are willing to take a chance on having to sleep at the Toyota Inn.
But no matter what you do the important thing is that you go. It is the worlds premier mineral show and is not to be missed.
