Re: [meteorite-list] Where is an admin when one is NEEDED?
"and my hat goes off to Art, the captain and sovereign, who has managed all of it" Alex, my favorite undourly poster sort from Schoknecht's City, here we don't have sovereigns, but I'd gladly contribute to send Art to Washington if he ever became possessed by such insanity ;-) !!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ulbhrzxhcc There was a time when the transatlantic dialog - and even Australia as well - seemed to me more unfettered on this list, but now, excepting occasional advertisements I feel a drought. Just two thoughts, first, the time is right for a new giant and spectacular fall within the reach of multiple list members to generate hopes of a million new dreamers, and the other, well, where then, is the new generation of German meteorite kids, (and we can't speak for French, British, Italian, Pole, Scandinavian, Spanish, Swiss, Austrian). Wow! On the same day, I get posts from both Julia Swaim and Al Mitterling!! Too bad that the post from "jj" was because her email address was hijacked by some virus (probably due to some unsafe Internet practices;-). And almitt2? I knew him back when he was almitt0.5! That's why I "love" this List. The more time goes by, the more things remain the same. It was a simple joke that got blown out of proportion. Everyone liked it last year - no complaints then. It would have been dropped and forgotten by now if some busybodies with nothing better to do, had not made a mountain out of a molehill. Let's just drop this nonsense and get on with meteorites. Last time I post a friggin joke to a bunch of politically-correct Joes whose wives carry around the family jewels in a coin purse. If anyone should be offended, it should be a relative of Anne Hodges - not some self-appointed bad-taste cops. Maybe one of the joke-cops would volunteer to be a hall monitor for all of us - Regine? John? Farmer? That's my last word on this. Hate me if you want. Frankly, I have bigger problems to worry about right now. Offending some panty-waist is not amongst my worries right now.
