[uf-discuss] In-the-wild datetimes for screenreader testing
I'm hoping to test some date formats with screen-readers, but notice that there aren't any in the wild URLs posted on the wiki page http://microformats.org/wiki/assistive-technology-abbr-results I'm assuming from this absence that there aren't any examples in the wild, so propose testing ad hoc examples. In order that the results aren't dismissed as invalid because they're specially created rather than in the wild, I'd like to canvas opinion on this plan - or put out another call for in the wild URLs, please. bruce ___ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss

This confusion about what exactly requires real-world examples seems to come up a lot, so I've added a FAQ for this: http://microformats.org/wiki/faq#Q._What_if_I_can.27t_find_real- world_examples_of_a_standard_I.27d_like_to_propose.3F Summary: test in the wild dates with hypothetical markup alternatives. Hi Bruce, upcoming.org seems to use microformatted events, so you could try our book sale as a test case: http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/183325 Do you need real world examples of event listings too - we've got a whole bunch of events listed at work, but they'd need to be marked up with hCalendar for testing: http://www.nmm.ac.uk/server/show/nav.005001002 Jim Jim O'Donnell [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://eatyourgreens.org.uk http://flickr.com/photos/eatyourgreens ___ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss
