That should, of course, be:

Wed, June 7, 2006

Many apologies - in the midst of a work crisis, I got behind on
reading this list, and missed this.

I would still be interested in a microformats lunch, dinner,
breakfast, high tea, pub crawl or anything else. I might even be able
to convince a couple of other New York microformatters to attend
(Mike? Charles?) and there may be others lurking somewhere around who
could be lured out by the promise of a large enough gathering.

I'm away until the 20th of June: any takers for some time after that?

I think we're all set.

One thing to add. Raines pointed me to a separate event going on at
the same time 4 miles away: http://upcoming.org/event/80332/

He suggested merging them. I don't know how or whether it's a good
idea (you know, the focus thing), but I promised I'll post it here.

This thread is starting to make me hungry. Anyone in the NYC area
up for a microformats-related dinner? I'm specifically interested in
Chinese food and the Chat/IM-microformat, but I'm flexible. (Last time
this happened it set off a round of Bar Camps, but that's another
story)

With two people, a microformats lunch might be more appropriate, but
we'll see what happens. I'm fairly flexible, but as a target date how's the
middle of next week? Maybe:

Wed, May 3rd (noonish or evening as appropriate)

I throw that out as a starting point, not as anything carved in stone. I'm
around 11th and 54th during the day, 2nd and 49th in the evenings, but
for dinner pretty much anywhere is fine.

2006-05-25 Thread Tantek Çelik
Chris, Taylor and my talk on Microformats and Mashups at NetSquared is
Tuesday from 4:15-5:10pm. Sessions go until 6pmish, and then there is a the
NetSquared main reception 7pm-10pm.

http://www.netsquared.org/conference/conference-schedule

I don't see how there is time to do a *separate* dinner that night, for
microformats or winecamp report-back etc., but I'll leave the
winecamp/netsquared-reception battle to Chris. ;)

For a microformats dinner, how about:

Wednesday night
San Francisco

Start time:6pm? later?

If that sounds good to folks in general, then based on who says they're
interested, we can figure out a place.

Thanks,

Tantek
