Hello, I think the Soekris net6501 has two great advantages : * power consumption : their atom E6XX is between 3,3w and 7w TDP, which is much lower than the 35w of the Pentium G620T. On 4.8 I was using smtpd to relay periodic mails. The box is
a firewall and the resolver is not configured at all.

Ifstated monitoring demon with threads help.

I am trying to get ifstated to monitor nginx relayd
demons but can't quite figure out how to do it. As both nginx relayd
have a master process and child threads, I am trying to figure out how
to check that all the processes are running and if there's a problem
(maby one thread dies) kill the service and restart it. As I think this
is the correct to thing to do.
This is my ifstated.conf for nginx, It checks for a predefined number of
processes and if there's a problem It trys to kill the process and start
it again. But it doesn't work. Can anyone help ?

After messing around with boot -c I was able to get it working by disabling acpi, apm and mpbios. Hope this helps someone, since I didn't find anything about this error on the OpenBSD archives... Nvidia HW is quite too much crappy. Did you try latest snapshot just to see if it's ok in current or not? If it's not then maybe some of the devs will want to see acpidump(8) tables (not here on misc@ directly probably ;-)) Actually just disabling mpbios works fine.
