Agreed, only mentioned to confirm it is (not) the browser img libraries.
Because some images (IIRC some PNG's) don't render always OK in "Dillo".

On a totally tangential track, still artwork related, from time to time
I want to visit in cvsweb the hackathons page.  In dillo, randomly some
artwork is missing here and there, each time different, please check it:

I do not know whether the web browser hits a configuration limit or the
cvsweb service does not allow concurrency above some threshold.  Thanks.

Ah, you're talking about the link in the left hand column, not the one that
used to be on the main page.
Maybe do this?

The project is over 20 years old.

It is implausible to retain links forever to everything.

It isn't the purpose of the project.

I was looking for the puffy artwork and the Artwork link in the site
directs to the lyrics page not the artworks.

After some google I got the old Artwork pages, like

Is this ok or something broken?
Is there any official page for official OpenBSD logos to use when
talking about it, the artwork pages have a lot of material, but nothing
stated as an official logo.
