Given OpenBSD's close-to-nonexistent locale support, you may be better
off with xterm -en KOI8-R.

 With this setting Xterm starts with:

OpenBSD -current Xterm cyrillic problem

Hi everyone,
I am running openbsd -current (the new installer is great :) ).
X11 worked out of the box, i added only Cyrillic fonts and 
Xkb keyboard layout switching.

Locale is set with LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R in /etc/profile.

Cyrillic works great in Firefox35.

Xterm however does not show any Cyrillic letters.

With this setting Xterm starts with:
Warning: could not change ownership of tty -- pty is insecure!

Below is the xorg.conf .
I am using the default fvwm.

And the question is how to get Cyrillic displayed in Xterm and X11 in
general.

I have no problem with cyrillic, but have the same message on start
xterm.

1) In ~/.Xdefaults try to set
XTerm*locale: true
XTerm*allowC1Printable: true
xterm*faceName: Andale Mono
