relayd feature request
Hi, Today I found out that I was able to disable/enable hosts by name instead of id :) It would be nice if it worked when a host is mentioned in multiple redirects/tables (ie different ports): Id Type Name Avlblty Status 3 redirect mx-smtps active 3 table mx:465 active (2 hosts) 5 host mx1 100.00% up 6 host mx2 100.00% up 4 redirect mx-subm active 4 table mx:587 active (2 hosts) 7 host mx1 100.00% up 8 host mx2 100.00% up right now, relayctl host dis/en mx1, disables/enables it only in the first redirect. I've looked at the code but didn't find a clean way to make it happen... thanks in advance G

I may be wrong, but it sounds like what you really want is a leastconns loadbalancing alg, which currently doesn't exist, though I don't know the state of dev, anyone? I should clarify that the tag option is usable as an option to a redirection, and not a relay if I understand the man page correctly. I'm quite happy with it, but there's something I'd really like to do with it that it currently can't do (or perhaps I just missed how to do it, or just couldn't connect the dots). I currently have a pool of mail servers behind relayd, forwarding port 25 to the servers in the pool. I know this is sort of possible using pf, but I'd like to do is have relayd be able to limit connections per source address.
